Of course you can serve your Cucina Verde kraut on the side of any meal that you are eating, but it is fun to experiment with different ways to combine it with your meals!
Here are some recipes to get you started:
Roasted veggies with kurry kraut
Find your favorite vegetables at market and simply roast them in a 375 degree oven with some olive oil, butter, ghee, coconut oil or avocado oil until soft.
Remove vegetables from sheet pan and place in a bowl. Stir in a couple of tablespoons of kurry kraut and top with fresh chopped cilantro!
Leek and Mushroom Salad with Apple Fennel Kraut
Extra virgin olive oil
2 large leeks , washed well and sliced thinly
1 pound Oley Valley shitake mushrooms, sliced thinly
1 teaspoon whole grain mustard or dijon
Sea salt
1 apple sliced thinly
Juice of 1 lemon
Sea salt
Parsley for serving
Apple fennel kraut
Heat oil in pan.
Add leeks and saute until they begin to soften.
Add mushrooms and cook until soft.
Add mustard and stir through.
Season and remove to a bowl.
Add apple slices and lemon juice.
Season and serve garnished with parsley and apple fennel kraut
Other ideas:
Cook up some Lindenhof pork chops and add caraway kraut
Get your favorite bread from Big Sky, add some of your favorite Conabella or Yellow Springs Farm cheese and add rosemary red kraut

Add your favorite kraut to fried eggs, sandwiches, wraps, rice dishes or salads!
